Sentinel Creative builds and hosts websites for local businesses. This page explains, in plain English, what information is handled and why. No legal padding, just the facts.
What I collect and why
- If you email or call me: your name, contact details and whatever you tell me about your business. Used to reply to you and, if you become a client, to build and run your site.
- If you become a client: business details for your website (services, photos, reviews, opening hours), billing details for invoicing, and login details for your domain where you ask me to manage it.
- This website itself: no tracking cookies, no analytics profiles, no advertising pixels. The hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard server logs for security.
What I never do
- Sell or rent your information to anyone
- Share it with third parties beyond the services needed to run your site (hosting, domain registration, email delivery)
- Send you marketing you didn't ask for
Services used to run things
Client sites and this one run on Cloudflare (hosting and domains). Email is delivered through Resend. Contact form submissions on client sites go through Formspree or similar to the business's own inbox. Each of those has its own privacy policy and processes data inside standard agreements.
How long things are kept
Client business information is kept for as long as you're a client, plus whatever HMRC requires for invoices. If you stop being a client, your site files are exported and handed to you, and my copies are deleted on request.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask me at any time what information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. One email does it.
Who is responsible
Sentinel Creative is a trading name of Sentinel Metrics Limited, registered in England & Wales, company no. 16968275, registered office 5 Brayford Square, London, E1 0SG. Sentinel Metrics Limited is the data controller for anything described on this page. Day to day, that's Bartek, operating from St Neots, Cambridgeshire.
